As both a community and high risk referral center, these services are complimented by a renowned Neonatal Intensive Care unit and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultants. The most common medical diagnosis are gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, placenta previa/abruption, chorioamnionitis, newborn jaundice, newborn hypoglycemia, and preterm birth. Common patient populations include patients transferring from the Neuro ICU. Patients who require mechanical ventilation or pressors for support are transferred to the ICU.
